Which countries have the most electric vehicles

The United States is the world’s leading producer of electric vehicles, with China and India following close behind. In Europe, Norway has the most electric vehicles per capita, while in Asia, China has the most electric vehicles as a percentage of total cars.

India‘s electric vehicle market is growing rapidly, with new models being released every month. The country is also home to one of the largest EV manufacturing industries in the world, with major companies like Tata Motors and Mahindra Group setting up production facilities for their electric cars.

The most electric vehicles in the world are found in China, with over 30 million registered vehicles. In fact, it’s the only country where electric cars outnumber gas-powered ones.

The United States is third on the list with 6.8 million electric vehicles on the road, although just one-third of all vehicles sold in the U.S. are electric.

The rest of the top 10 countries are: Sweden (2nd), Norway (3rd), Japan (4th), France (5th), Germany (6th) and Netherlands (7th).
